The 2012 Panthers were anchored by two veteran netminders, Jose Theodore and Scott Clemmensen. These experienced goalies didn’t need much help, but the whole team converged to provide defensive support whenever a Devils skater approached the net. All hands were on deck in the playoffs.

THEODORE’S GARGOYLES MOVE TO FLORIDA
Jose Theodore’s tiki-themed gargoyle mask featured many Floridian touches, like a palm tree above his forehead. The design by Dave Gunnarsson made Theodore’s trademark gargoyles fit perfectly with the goalie’s new team in the Sunshine State.

TIKI TIME FOR JOSE THEODORE
Jose Theodore has featured gargoyles on his masks since the beginning of his career. In 2012, Theodore had artist Dave Gunnarsson give the motif a Floridian twist with tiki-themed gargoyles.
